The Estate

4 generations for 130 years of history

The Domaine's history began in 1892, when Monsieur Albert acquired a few hectares of vines near the commune of Vaudelnay.
130 years later, the Domaine du Vieux Pressoir continues to grow, evolving with new harvesting and vinification techniques, and the creation of two AOCs: Saumur (1936) and Saumur - Puy Notre Dame (2009).

After four generations of winemakers, the Domaine's development has continued since 2015 with Claude Vagnon and his family.

In 2024, after three years of conversion, the estate officially obtained Organic Agriculture certification, marking its strong commitment to quality, the environment and sustainable viticulture.
